The VSS was honored to be part of the Tommy Bare Memorial event put on by the Bare Family and NBS Speedway and it has been a very popular and well attended race since it started and Jerald Harris was able to wrestle away the lead and go on to win.

This race is a special feature only event so Jerald Harris and Daren Bolac paced the field to green with Bolac out first and Harris close behind.

The track was fast and it was a torrid pace as the laps clicked off until a quick spin saw a restart and they went right back at it with Harris chasing but not getting a shot until he changed up his line.

With a few laps to go moving higher he was able to close and coming off turn two with two laps to go shot to the lead. Now Bolac was chasing and coming to the flag made a charge but ran out of laps as Jerald Harris flashed under the checkered flag for the win.

At the line it was Jerald Harris, Daren Bolac, Aaron Leach, Matthew Leach, Caleb Harris, John Smith and Chris Ware.
