With the Nation celebrating the Nations 250th anniversary the IMCA RaceSaver sprinters visited the Washington DC suburban high banked clay over at Potomac Speedway with Donnie Hendershot taking the win.

Heats kicked off the night on the hot humid day with Matt Mullins and Donnie Hendershot taking wins as the track showed how racy it would prove to be as it was fast and tacky anywhere you wanted to run.

Ryan Lynn and Matt Mullins paced the field to green with Lynn out first followed by Matthew Leach, Donnie Hendershot and Dylan Shatzer.

After a quick spin it was back to racing with Lynn out front as Hendershot made it to second and Shatzer and Bolac Third and forth.

Lynn Continued to lead with Hendershot and Shatzer chasing as Billy Hubbard made his way forward as well.

Hendershot made his move at half way going low and into the lead with Shatzer next but Lynn would park with a mechanical right after leaving Billy Hubbard to chase the top two.

Hendershot led with Shatzer never far behind as Billy Hubbard was closing as the laps clicked off.

With two to go Shatzer was looking for a way by but Donnie Hendershot never put a wheel wrong to flash under the waving checkered flag first.

At the line it was Donnie Hendershot, Dylan Shatzer, Billy Hubbard, Matthew Leach, Daren Bolac, Caleb Harris, Aaron Leach, Jerald Harris, Matthew Mullins, Jacob Wood, Glenn Worrell, John Smith, Chris Ware, Ryan Lynn and Colton Handershot.
