Jerald Harris Saves the Best for Last

On a scorching hot day and fighter jets fly above all day Jerald Harris proved to be the hottest with a last lap outside pass for the win.

Heat races kicked off the night with Chris Humblet and Aaron Leach taking wins before we were off to the feature.

Aaron Leach broke his drive line as he won the heat race and didn’t have the parts to fix it so this changed the line up with Daren Bolac and Chase Burrow now on the front row.

At the start Burrow got the lead with Bolac and Jerald Harris right behind.

A quick caution for a staled car then it was back at it as Harris made his way to second and with Bolac third as Humblet to forth with Bill Mullis fifth.

On lap eight Bolac’s car broke as Humblet was right on him and there was no way to mis him and his night also ended.

At the restart Burrow and Harris went back at it with and now Robert Tyler, Bill Mullis and Matt Mullins in the top five.

Burrow and Harris were getting away but with a few laps to go lap traffic made Burrow change his line as Harris really closed in.

Harris was right there with two to go and with the white flag in the air Harris made his move by going high in turn one.

Harris got alongside and inched ahead and in to the lead and flashed under the waving checkered flag with Burrow inside a car length back.

At the line it was Jerald Harris, Chase Burrow, Robert Tyler, Bill Mullis, Matt Mullis, Caleb Harris, John Smith, Dale Perro, Daren Bolac, Chris Humblet, Jimmy Humblet, Jacob Wood, Chris Ware, Matthew Leach and Aaron Leach.
