The annual Dad’s Night Out at the Races at Hagerstown was another good one with thirty-six IMCA RaceSaver sprints checking in and when it was all said and done long time racer Jacob Gomoala ended up taking his first win at Hagerstown.

Four heats kicked off the night with wins by Zach Rhodes, Jacob Gomoala, Timmy Bittner and Doug Dodson with the B main going to Donnie Hensrshot.

Hagerstown opted to expand the feature field and started twenty-eight Sprinters with Tyler Erdly and Zach Rhodes pacing the field to green.

The charge to the first turn had had Rhodes inch ahead of Erdly but by the time they made it to the back stretch Gomola found the bottom groove to his liking and was out in the front. Gomola was in the wind with Erdly getting back by Rhodes and Kolby Weaver now fourth.

Gomola continued to lead as Erdly and Weaver, Rhodes and now Jerrett Cavalet and Timmy Bittner all together.

Gomola after some quick cautions for stalled cars went right back after it with Kolby Weaver second and Timmy Bittner third as Erdley, Cavalet, Kasey Weaver now joined by Ken Duke and Dylan Shatzer all chased the front.

The end was coming up quickly as Weaver was closing but another stalled car reset a dash to the checkered flag and they were off Gomola and Weaver with Bittner close as Erdly was holding off a charging Cole Dewease after getting by Cavalet but none were fast enough as Jacob Gomola flashed under the waving checkered flag followed by Kolby Weaver and Timmy Bittner.

At the line it was Jacob Gomola, Kolby Weaver, Timmy Bittner, Tyler Erdly, Cole Dewease, Jarrett Cavalet, Ken Duke, Kasey Weaver, Dylan Shatzer, Ryan Lynn, Micheal Alleman, Doug Dodson, Landon Tressler, Brady Beavers, Jacob McLain, Matt Kline, Caleb Harris, Jerald Harris, Daren Bolac, Cody Hoover, Breaden Varner, Donny Hendershot, Zach Rhodes, AJ Barton, Chris Dolan, Tyler Schell, Braydon Frack and Mike Melair.
