On the first really hot and humid day of the season the real heat was brought on by Robert Tyler as he took the lead and stayed up front with lighting in the sky and rain on the way

Fast Friday race #2 was once again sponsored by Great Bridge Muffler and Brake and Bay Concrete with fifteen sprinters making the call at the clay oval by the coast.

Heat races kicked off the night with Robert Tyler and Billy Hubbard showing the way for the wins.

A quick turn around had Matt Mullins and Rober Tyler up front with Mullins out first and Robert Taylor, Ben McCall, Dylan Shatzer and Billy Hubbard all in line.

Mullins was good and stayed tight to the bottom until he opened up a little bit and that was all it took as Tyler went under to the top spot.

Tyler stayed up front with McCall making his way to second as Mullins, Shatzer and Hubbard were working on Mullins as he would find it hard to stay low with brake trouble.

With the end in sight Tyler stayed smooth and fast on the bottom line with McCall right behind as Shatzer, Hubbard, Daren Bolac top five.

The laps clicked off fast as Tyler stayed out front with the others trying to find a way to close but it would not be as Robert Tyler sped under the waving checkered flag for his first win.
