Billy Norfleet County Line High Flyer

Billy Norfleet took most of the race to get going but with a few laps to go found his groove flying to his first win of the year. To kick off the night Satch Worley took the win in the eight lap County Line Qualifier event before it was off to the feature. Scott Vasbinder was on poll and used his good start by showing the field his tail until lap eight when a caution came out to pick debris on track bunching up the pack. Pete Kingrea was on Vasbinder from the start but two laps after the restart Kingrea went low and took off. Kingrea was clicking off laps up front but Norfleet was on the way and with five to go Norfleet showed Kingrea the groove that was working and swept by for the lead and went on to fly under the checkered flag.

At the line it was Billy Norfleet, Satch Worley, Pete Kingrea, Bill Rice, Ivan Shaver, Anthony Linkenhoker, Scott Vasbinder, French Grimes, Ron Moyers, Danny Miller and Paul White.

Next Week the series come back to its own backyard as it visits Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Va. on Saturday night June 14th.
